People and communities experiencing disadvantage are hit hardest by climate change impacts because they have the fewest resources to respond, recover, and adapt. But to date, policies to address climate impacts and to cut pollution have disproportionately benefited people with money and choices.

That's why we need a federal framework to hold decision makers accountable to considering those who are marginalised when they're creating climate change policy.

We're calling on the government to amend the climate change act to include objectives, principles and processes to ensure the response to climate change improves the lives of people from the cities to the outback. Will you add your name to the call?
